RuralCoop Executive Director Elected to the Board of Cooperatives Europe
Antalya, Turkey – June 3, 2025
We are proud to announce that Mariam Gabrielyan, Executive Director of the RuralCoop Support Foundation, has been elected to the Board of Cooperatives Europe. The election took place during the General Assembly of Cooperatives Europe, held from June 1 to 3, 2025, in Antalya, Turkey. Representing Armenia, Mariam Gabrielyan will contribute her voice, vision, and experience to help shape the future of the European cooperative movement.
Alongside Armen Gabrielyan, CEO and President of Farm Credit Armenia Credit Cooperative and Chair of the Board of RuralCoop, the Armenian delegation actively engaged in the Assembly’s key discussions on cooperative development, youth engagement, and digital innovation in cooperative finance.
“This election is not only a personal honor, but also a recognition of the growing role of Farm Credit Armenia Credit Cooperative within both Armenia and the wider European cooperative family,” said Mariam Gabrielyan. “I am committed to bringing the values, challenges, and innovative spirit of our region into the broader European cooperative dialogue.”
