European Youth Cooperative Forum
2024 in Sofia
On September 30, 2024, the Central Cooperative Union, in collaboration with Cooperatives Europe, hosted the European Youth Cooperative Forum in Sofia, Bulgaria, focusing on "Youth Participation in Cooperative Management." Young representatives from 12 countries shared insights and best practices during discussions on two panels: "Perspectives for Young People in Cooperatives" and "Youth Participation in Cooperative Management." Mariam Gabrielyan, Executive Director of RuralCoop, and a representative from Farm Credit Armenia, Mariam Grigoryan the HR manager, participated to explore ways to engage youth in the cooperative movement locally.
